We've decided to go with the name "Cassandra" instead of "Cassie." Yes, yes, in this post here we said we would be calling her "Cassie" for short. But,
I we changed my our minds.
I know someone -- not naming any names, but will use their initials (L & C) -- good friends of ours -- actually relatives of ours -- who changed their baby's name three or four times during the first year or so of her life.
So, for now, Cassandra please. Pronounced kuh-SAHN-druh. With the a's sounding like the "a" in "father" NOT like the "a" in "sand." That is on the beach.

Ain't the internet grand?
And yes, I realize that by the time she is a preteen (or earlier) she'll have all sorts of modifications on her name, as did I (Jillie, Jilly, Jillian).
