Hanukkah is getting bigger and bigger in our household as a certain six-year-old understands the present part more and more. This is somewhat ironic because the present part is more a function of the holiday's proximity to Christmas than anything else.
Nonetheless, below is a picture of Zander singing in the choir at the Hanukkah service. A doting grandparent was able to get a photo of him actually singing. For the record (ha, ha), he sings these songs all the time from start to finish -- in the car, while putting together Legos, etc. But, on stage, he sometimes gets distracted. (I am watching what I write now that Zander is a fluent reader.)
